ABOUT

Lisa began strength training in 1984 while studying engineering at the University of Missouri - Rolla. She was immediately hooked, but her passion for weightlifting was relegated to a hobby as she began a more practical career as an engineer. In 1997, Lisa abandoned engineering and obtained her personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise to pursue her dream of turning her passion into her livelihood.
Lisa is a former competitive bodybuilder, a competitive olympic weightlifter and a USA Weightlifting Level I Coach. Some of her accomplishments include:
- Current World Masters record holder in the clean & jerk (66kg/145.5lbs) and total (116kg/255.7lbs) in the 48kg weight class, 45-49 age group
- Current U.S. National Masters record holder in the snatch (52kg/114.6lbs), clean & jerk (67kg/147.7lbs) and total (117kg/257.9lbs) in the 48kg weight class, 45-49 age group
- Grand Master (best female lifter in all age groups and all weight classes), Pan American Masters Championships, 2011
- NPC California State Bodybuilding Champion, lightweight division, 1998
When she's not in the gym, you can find her out on the trails, hiking and mountain biking in summer and skate skiing, striding and telemark skiing in winter.
Lisa's unique training style combines her knowledge and experience from both bodybuilding and olympic weightlifting and melds them into a very effective workout to build leaner, faster, stronger clients.
Lisa's pursuit and accomplishment of her own goals speaks for itself. Whether you want to gain muscle, lose fat, bike faster, climb harder, or ski longer, Lisa can help you achieve your goals!
